After a Cub game at Wrigley three of us were looking for dinner in the area before a drive home. Zazas wqs nearby and came with high recommendation. It was still relatively early at 4:45 pm when we arrived and able to grab a table. The small seating area quickly filled. We ordered the Gold Medal pizza and added sausage and mushrooms. The crust was thin and excellent. The toppings could have been increased a bit but were excellent. We also ordered the cheese curds. Which came with two sauces. They were a great leadoff for the pizza. There was lots of pickup traffic and I can taste why. Very tasty pizza with a good mix of cheeses and terrific choices of sauce.

This is one of the best pizza places in the city! I don't like when the pie is super thin where it's flimsy and I feel like Zaza has the perfect ratio of sturdiness where the toppings don't slide off (if that makes sense lol). The hot honey is so so good! I'm obsessed with this place :) Not a lot of seating though, but you can get it to go. Staff are super nice too!

I'm so happy the food here tastes as good as it looks. These pizzas are great for my mental health. The bacon jam is my favorite. I cannot wait to go back.

Mike's Hot Pepperoni Pie is the greatest pizza I have ever eaten. And I have had many many many pizzas in my life. Thousands, if not tens of thousands. This one is the best. Service is great, ambiance is solid though I wish they had more space, and my only constructive criticism is that they refuse to offer slices after 4pm (why?). Highly recommend if you want to taste the best pizza (must like hot honey on your pizza).

Very tasty and well-made thin-crust, with rich sauces! This is what you're looking for if you want a down-to-earth, neighborhood pizza joint. It has that hole-in-the-wall, friendly energy that makes you excited to get pizza. Skip the big chains, this is well worth it.

Tried Zazas for the first time recently and it was truly exceptional pizza! Really loved the Mike's hot pepperoni pie and the bacon jam - really nice that you can split flavors with the same sauce if you get a large pie. Space inside is pretty limited so I wouldn't go with a group more than 4 if you're trying to dine inside, but otherwise loved the experience! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Cost: 4/5

NY Style Pizza in Chicago?! It's pretty close. Busy little spot in the city and I totally understand why. It's small... they could really use a larger space with more seating. Get in. Get your name on a seating list and yeah. Worth it. The girl was young, cute, and so cool but still so sweet and kind. The food was really, really good. We ordered the Garlic Twists and the Mike's Hot Pepperoni Pie. Both just so good. We drove specifically to this spot from Indiana just to try their NY Style Pizza. No regrets. Will we come again JUST to eat here? Provably not but if we're already in the city (which is quite often), it's definitely worth another visit. City street parking... IYKYK

I treated myself to a quick birthday lunch here the other day after hearing so many positive reviews about the food and how the place is always packed with people. After trying it, I have to agree with all the reviews - this place is amazing. The restaurant itself is small, but it's not a bad thing. It has that cozy neighborhood that you'd get in a place like New York. The wall art is awesome and it's just a vibe all around. The two men who were working there, who I later learned were named Rae and Ben, were incredibly nice and were so welcoming. After a bit of conversation, I told them it was my birthday and they just made the experience that much better with a few extra things to try on top of the friendly chitchat. Once I tagged them on social, the owner, Sue reached out to me about my experience so it was lovely to have the friendly conversation continue. Onto the food - I tried the Mike's Hot Honey pepperoni slice and they recommended I try the bacon jam slice along with a cookie which I forgot to photograph. Both slices were incredible and it's hard to choose a favorite but the pepperoni slice was something I'll be dreaming about for a while. So far, this is the closest match to authentic New York pizza that I've found in Chicago. I can't wait to come back, not only for the pizza but for the incredible people who work there too. 10000/10.
